Hardware with heritage.
Arlowe Hardware was born from a simple frustration: finding beautiful, well-made hardware should not be difficult. Too many homes end up with mass-produced fittings because the alternatives are hidden behind trade-only suppliers or buried in overwhelming catalogues.
We curate a considered collection of solid brass hardware for kitchens, bathrooms, doors, and joinery. Every piece is made to order, finished by hand, and inspected before dispatch. The range is deliberately focused because we believe in doing fewer things well.
Our nine finishes span five coating types, each developed to suit different interiors and age gracefully over time. Satin Brass is lacquered for consistent warmth. Antique Brass, Matte Black, Satin Nickel, Matte Brass, and Gunmetal are electroplated for everyday durability. Polished Gold uses PVD coating for the highest scratch resistance. Matte White is powder-coated for a clean, modern look. And Unlacquered Brass is left raw, developing a living patina unique to your home.
Three principles.
Material honesty
Every piece is solid brass throughout. No plating over zinc. No hollow castings. The weight in your hand tells you what it is made of.
Considered curation
We carry a focused collection, not hundreds of SKUs. Each piece earns its place. If we would not put it in our own home, we do not offer it in yours.
Quiet confidence
Good hardware does not shout. It finishes the room. The right knob on the right cabinet in the right finish is one of the smallest details that makes the biggest difference.
“The handles arrived and they are beautiful. The weight alone tells you they are quality. My kitchen finally feels finished.”
Sarah M. · Cotswolds
“We specified Arlowe across an entire kitchen renovation. The consistency between finishes and the attention to detail made our job so much easier.”
James R. · Interior Designer, London
“I ordered samples first and the unlacquered brass won me over immediately. Six months on, the patina is developing exactly how I hoped.”
Emma T. · Edinburgh
Laura Serrant
Co-Founder & Design Director
Laura oversees the curation and design direction of every piece in the Arlowe collection. With a background in interior design and an obsessive eye for proportion and finish, she is responsible for the look and feel of the range.
Every product in the collection has been selected and refined by Laura to work across different interior styles, from contemporary kitchens to period renovations. Her approach is simple: if it does not feel right in the hand and look right on the cabinet, it does not make the cut.
Made to order, not mass produced.
When you place an order, your hardware enters production. Each piece is cast, machined, polished, and finished by hand before being inspected and carefully packaged for dispatch.
We do not keep large inventories or cut corners on finishing. Every order is produced to your specification, which means the piece you receive was made for you. The result is hardware that feels exactly as it should.
Current production and delivery times are listed on each product page and at checkout. We know waiting is not for everyone, but the difference is in your hand the moment you open the box.
