Hardware with heritage.
Arlowe Hardware was born from a simple frustration: finding beautiful, well-made hardware should not be difficult. Too many homes end up with mass-produced fittings because the alternatives are hidden behind trade-only suppliers or buried in overwhelming catalogues.
We curate a considered collection of solid brass hardware for kitchens, bathrooms, and joinery. Every piece is made to order, finished by hand, and inspected before dispatch. The range is deliberately tight because we believe in doing fewer things well.
Our four finishes are developed to age gracefully. Satin Brass holds its warmth behind a protective lacquer. Aged Brass deepens naturally with every touch. Antique Brass carries heritage character from the moment it arrives. Polished Brass rewards those who appreciate a mirror-bright surface that develops its own story over time.
Three principles.
Material honesty
Every piece is solid brass throughout. No plating over zinc. No hollow castings. The weight in your hand tells you what it is made of.
Considered curation
We carry 30 to 50 pieces, not hundreds. Each one earns its place. If we would not put it in our own home, we do not offer it in ours.
Quiet confidence
Good hardware does not shout. It finishes the room. The right knob on the right cabinet in the right finish is one of the smallest details that makes the biggest difference.
Made to order, not mass produced.
When you place an order, your hardware enters production. Each piece is cast, machined, polished, and finished by hand before being inspected and carefully packaged for dispatch.
This takes 3 to 4 weeks. We know that is longer than clicking "add to cart" on a mass-produced alternative. But the difference is in your hand the moment you open the box.
We do not keep large inventories. We do not cut corners on finishing. We do not rush production to meet arbitrary deadlines. The result is hardware that feels exactly as it should.
